Rehab With Heart

It isn't easy to find, and that's what makes On With Life different. Over twenty years ago, we were formed by families whose loved ones sustained a brain injury. Our organization started as a labor of love, and has grown into one of the most pioneering programs for brain injury rehabilitation in the country.

Who We Help

On With Life provides a wide spectrum of services for individuals with brain injury. From post-acute, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient services at On With Life at Ankeny and Supported Community Living throughout Central Iowa and Independent Living Housing in Ankeny to long-term skilled nursing for youth and younger adults at On With Life at Glenwood to adolescents and adults. We provide services to those with mild, moderate, and severe brain injury and yes, even persons in a minimally conscious state and those with complex medical issues.

On With Life boasts very high staff-to-patient ratios which means the people we serve receive more hours of therapy and nursing from qualified specialists. We were created by family members of persons with a brain injury and we work hard every single day to stay true to their vision.
